I decided to invest some more time in my blog. Thanks to Achim here is the picture of Roca cape near Lisbon, the most western point of continental Europe. And a very nice place for sure!

Moving to Porto

Yep... I am preparing to move to Porto... First time going north in Portugal. After several years in Lisbon and assuming that I was a "mouro" I am going to the capital of the "morcoes". The eternal rivals.

Still I think they are nice people, although most of them are supporters of FC Porto. That will be a challenge... Hope to resist to the accent and all the bad words in portuguese that seems that are a normal thing, while in other parts of the country is considered rude.

Thanks to my friend Pedro, I will be staying at his place for a while. More updates to come in the near future.

Last Weekend...

... I was in Amsterdam.

It was great to see all those crazy people. It was great to see again my very good friend Tiago and of course Frauke from my MC term in Germany.

Frauke has been working for Greenpeace, the greenies :-). Went to this happy hour party on Friday. Have to tell that it was a great party and some really clever people. Of course the beer was organic, although for me was just beer. Funny to meet all these interesting people.

Of course I should clarify that I had a job interview with ABN AMRO. Very interesting stuff! Pure economists... Great experience.

Thanks to all the people for the time there, specially Zoe for letting me "invade" her birthday party and Marcio for the great rest of Friday night.

New Ideas for Afganistan

I got to know today that the 3rd Afgan student is comming over to Germany.

Next Step

This last month was full of job interviews and after some possibilities, I finally got selected for a position at Philips Portugal.

Yep, going to start working… The “real” life, as some call it… For me it means the end of party whenever I want to… But for the ones who know me know that that was never a barrier… The true fact is that I am going to pay taxes and start being a contributor to all these public goods.

Still some things to clear… Final salary… and when I am going to start… And some medical exams later this week.

After that I am going to work from Monday till Friday… at least until some new projects start popping. Working people: I am one of you now.
