Time to Think...

Well.. once again here I am after some time without writing anything. There is no special reason why not to write. Simply going through a new phase. As you might know I started working for Philips 2 months ago (actually will turn 2 months on Thursday).

What am I doing? Sales, of course… It seems that it follows me. But now in a different area: Medical IT. So far so good! Have to tell that my first weeks around were very interesting and had the opportunity to learn a lot. Most of it because of a cool team and my direct boss is absolutely a fantastic guy that is patient enough (the ones who know me understand) to coach me on the job. Absolutely brilliant!

The path looks cool. There are a lot of hopes in me in the job and the next steps seem to be very appealing… Of course it includes international responsibilities… Something you would not expect when you do not work in the multinational country’s headquarters. So I can say that I am positively impressed.

Nevertheless the question is still around… Why not quit this all thing and get on board of a new adventure. Am I brave or crazy enough to embark in a crazy project without security?

For the moment I think I am going to stay around, as some say, as a “corporate bastard”.

Meanwhile, got locally involved with a political organization. Going to run for the city parliament in the next local elections for PSD (centre right party). Trying to make myself useful… Or trying to feel myself useful to the people around…Had the first meeting for project planning this week…
While doing… thinking… questioning…

Other stuff... My German team meeting is getting together... Not taking part this time...
